The questions administrators actually ask
Will this disrupt the school day?
No. Scanning happens outside instructional hours — after dismissal, on a professional day, or during a break. Usually one visit.
Are students or staff shown?
No. We scan empty spaces only. If someone walks through a shot, we rescan that area. There are no consent forms to collect, and nothing to blur or take down later.
Is purchasing complicated for a public school?
We're an NYC DOE Approved Vendor (#THE770638) with an established work-order and invoicing process your business manager will recognize, and a registered vendor with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. We accept school purchase orders, provide a W-9 on request, and invoice your business office directly — NYC DOE schools can typically engage us using already-allocated budget, without a separate bidding process.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size of the building and how much you want covered — single buildings start at $1,500, a general starting range, not a quote. It's a one-time price that typically falls within a school's small-purchase authority (check your district's policy), and you'll have an exact written number for your school before anything is scheduled.
Which budget does this come from?
Schools often cover it from a communications or marketing budget, the principal's discretionary funds, or PTA/PTO funds. We invoice the school directly — no credit card, no online checkout.
We already have photos on our website.
Keep them — photos work in print. But a photo shows one angle of one room; a tour lets a family move through the building and look wherever they want. Schools run both: photos in materials, the tour on the admissions page.
Can our IT person embed it?
Yes — it's one line of embed code, the same kind as a YouTube video. We send the link and the code; it works in any browser with nothing to install.
Who hosts the tour?
We do — there's nothing for your IT team to run. Ongoing hosting is listed in the pricing table, and the exact arrangement is spelled out in your written quote.
How long until we have it?
Usually one scanning visit, then the finished tour is typically delivered within 2-3 business days.
What if the building changes later?
Individual spaces can be re-scanned and swapped into your existing tour — you don't redo the whole building.
